Delores O’Connell, LPN, BA, AGTS, ASQ-CQIA CRCST, CHL, CER, CIS, spent 22 years as a manager of sterile processing, surgical inventory/SCM and medical equipment logistics for a multi-hospital system in the Midwest. She supports the education and training of infection control, sterile processing, surgical, and endoscopy professionals to help them achieve best practices. O’Connell served as a subject matter expert for the SGNA Gastroenterology Nursing Core Curriculum 6th Edition, and the IAHCSMM Central Service Technical Manual 8th Edition, and was recently recognized for this work. O’Connell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Computer Science from the University of Illinois.
